Laboratory automation for 2 or more testing devices. The ModularLine gloss tester uses the latest LED technology, which not only significantly increases the service life of the sensors, but also considerably shortens the measurement time. This significantly increases the quality of the measurement. The two built-in gloss sensors allow simultaneous measurements in machine and cross direction. The individual measuring devices are equipped with single-angle or multi-angle sensors. Depending on the applicable standard, this results in a wide range of possible applications.

Test Description
The measuring head is automatically placed on the specimen. The spring-loaded base plate guarantees the flatness of the specimen specified in the standards for gloss measurements. After only 1 second, the result of the test is known and the process is terminated. When the gloss tester is used as part of the ModularLine or in conjunction with a ModularLine single-transport system, this is one of the fastest measurement processes. Within a short time, an entire profile sample can thus be tested for its gloss properties with a very high measuring density.
